Thomas Moulton

Thomas Moulton was born on 10 November 1810, in Irchester, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, his father, William Moulton, was 57 and his mother, Sarah Horn, was 32. He married Sarah Denton on 26 April 1840, in Irchester, Northamptonshire, England. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States in 1860. He died on 17 April 1892, in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Heber City Cemetery, Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States.

The Thomas Moulton family were farmers and cattlemen. He had been a cattle herder in England. His son oldest son William Denton Moulton had a large farm, dairy, cattle operation in Hailstone and was a major supplier of meat, poultry, and dairy products to the miners in Park City. His son Charles Alma Moulton and his family moved from Heber to Idaho. This family later ranched on Mormon Row in Jackson, Wyoming where they built the two most photographed barns in America. The Thomas Moulton home is still standing on 2nd North and 2nd West in Heber.
