Robert Stone Duke

Robert Stone Duke was born on 14 April 1837, in Albany, Albany, New York, United States, his father, Jonathan Oldham Duke, was 29 and his mother, Mary Elois Stone, was 31. He married Anna Ross Young on 6 March 1857, in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Utah, Utah, United States in 1850 and Fairview, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1860. He died on 13 June 1923, in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States, at the age of 86, and was buried in Heber City Cemetery, Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States.

He served as a Counselor to William Wall, Stake President of the Wasatch stake in 1862. He assisted in bringing immigrants to Utah in 1866. He helped make the canals and wagon roads. He served as Bishop of the Heber East Ward 1884-1901 (21) years . He also served as Patriarch for (22) years.
