Robert Broadhead

Robert Broadhead was born on 3 June 1836, in Bolton, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom, his father, William Broadhead, was 29 and his mother, Sarah Golding, was 35. He married Eliza Clark on 1 January 1857, in Box Elder, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He lived in Coventry St Michael, Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom in 1841. He registered for military service in 1866. He died on 15 March 1916, in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States, at the age of 79, and was buried in Heber City Cemetery, Heber City, Wasatch, Utah, United States.

He was one of the original settlers of Heber Valley. He farmed on Lake Creek and became one of the Valley’s leading farmers. He was President of the Cooperative Sheep Herd and the President of the Lake Creek Irrigation Company. He helped build the company Reservoir.
